Here is a good example of what happens when you employ good passing and crossing.  Our U10 defender passes the ball on the ground, center mid one-touches it on the ground to the wing, the wing pushes the ball in front of him, crosses the ball in front of the goal (not at goalie), striker goes near post and the far side wing is there to finish!!  Good play all around and perfectly executed. 

Important points:

• Passing with control on the ground to a player that is in space
• Center mid with good one touch out to his wide player
• Right wing staying wide and taking good first touch in front of him
• Right wing looking up to see where he and his team mates are located
• Right wing crossing the ball firmly to far post and not directly at goalie
• Striker attacking near post in event ball goes there and also causing goalie to mark him
• WING STAYING WIDE TO FINISH THE BALL
