Encouraging the love of the game is a critical part of teaching our youth to play any sport.    At an instructional level, Green White coaches teach our young athletes by using fun but challenging activities geared to either enhancing skills or an understanding of the game.

Green White embraces the concept of "small sided" soccer where girls are afforded more "touches on th ball".  In Kindergarten, our athletes play either 3 v 3 or 4 v 4.  Full 11 v 11 soccer does not come into play until 6th grade.

Instructional coaches are provided with professional trainers from Major League Soccer (MLS), age specific training programs, opportunities to participate in IYSA moduless, and supervision by our Director of Coaching and MLS trainers. 

Clinics for our instructional girls by MLS trainers are held during the season.  Games are held on Saturday and currently are at Kopp Field on Dempster Avenue just west of Elmhurst Ave (Rt. 83).  Practices are run primarily by volunteer coaches during the week.
