Green White, S.C. is preparing for the fall 2009 season. With over 200 athletes attending tryouts in June, we have grown to have 20 teams including 5 boy’s teams competing in the YSSL and 15 Girls teams competing in the IWSL. 

 

We have assembled an excellent coaching and training staff. Each coach and trainer has taken the opportunity to begin planning training sessions as we continue to develop each individual to achieve excellence in the sport but furthermore, instill a passion and team commitment to work together on the field during practice and games. 

 

Beginning the second week of August, each team will participate in a team camp. Following team camps we will begin training sessions in preparation for tournament play and league play beginning September 13. 

 

As we continue to develop these young athletes we will formally begin developing programs geared toward:

 

-          Foot Skills

-          Pressure

-          Attack

-          Defense

-          Space

-          Use of Time

-          Strikers Clinics

-          Goal Keeping Clinics

-          Speed and Agility

 

Several of our teams have progressed from lower divisions in the YSSL and IWSL to top flight divisions. Our goal as a coaching staff is to athletically take each player where they’ve never been before and where they can’t get to on their own. 

 

The Board of Directors and Coaching Staff has been working diligently to continue to build our program and we will continue to develop each player at the highest level possible moving forward.
